Fresh green beans! Your palette will thank you.
Green beans with French Fried Onions
Ingredients:
- 1 package of ready to go french green beans. (I’m guessing this would be about 4 cups worth)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp of butter
- 1/4 cup of French’s french fried onions
- 1/4 cup of toasted sliced almonds (optional)
Directions:
Par boil your french green beans in 1/2 cup of water in your frying pan then drain the water. Just before you are ready to serve your green beans add 2 Tbsp of butter and your salt and pepper to taste. Toss to cook through aproximately 5 minutes and add your fried onions and sliced almonds at the end. Toss well and serve.
